Daniel was founded in 1964 by Daniel International Corporation, an international engineering and construction firm. Initially formed to manage internally-owned real estate assets, Daniel broadened its scope of activities in the late 1970's to include acquisition and development of investment properties by expanding its capital base to include institutional capital sources. Daniel International merged with Fluor Corporation in the 1970's to then become the largest public engineering and construction company in the world. In 1986, the senior management of Daniel acquired all assets and operations of Daniel from Fluor.
Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, with a regional office in Raleigh, North Carolina, Daniel currently focuses on markets in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states. Daniel's broad range of real estate expertise and fiduciary tradition enables the company to respond with the flexibility and timeliness demanded by the real estate industry.
